TODAY, not what I was expecting at all, I had a wonderful note awaiting me saying that she would be in the area.... this lady has followed my blog for many months now.... even though we had never met I believe we made a connection....
I had the pleasure of meeting Patti from Creative Cottage dreamer. She wrote that she would be in my part of the world and if we could meet.... of course I thought to myself... she was so close how could I not.... it would be a short visit as her daughter was in the area playing soccer and I was on my way to my son's soccer game as well.
It was short but sweet.... HI PATTI!!!! it was so nice to meet you......
I dragged my two boys and the hubby with me.... wish we could have visited longer.. but maybe down the line there will be another visit.

I am just so glad you saw my last minute note on FB, figured out the phone number thing and called!!! It was such a pleasure to finally meet you (and the family)! I feel like we could have talked for hours-there was no "new person" awkwardness at all. Finally meeting you and getting to spend some time with you truly made my weekend! I look forward to when we can do it again!
