Could you take my picture.....

last weekend I had the pleasure to hang out with my cousin Yoli - here pictured. We had a nice time. This weekend she is off to Colorado to visit two good friend of hers. I have many cousins, but this lady here is the one that I have been closest to all of my life.

I had the opportunity to take her to Geneva last weekend and I also had the opportunity to take her to the park in Geneva, IL with the big windmill. I don't know the name, but the reason we were there was to bring back some memories of us and the times that we were brought to this park by our dads to fish.

My cousin's father JIM has passed away and she had never been to this place since a little girl. So I had the great opportunity to take her there so that she could see where once she fished with her dad.

I am so thankful that I was able to do that for her.

Memories old or new we will always cherish!

Oh I remember that park too. When I was about 10 or so and we were having a picnic, my brother and I fell into the pond by the japanese bridge (it was covered with mossy stuff and looked like "green concrete!") As a teenager, I was hanging out late at night and ended up scraping my parents car against a log or something. Any yet, I have a fondness for the park. Go figure!
