I had the pleasure of photographing this young man today. He is coming out with his own music in May and needed a few pics taken for his cover.

Hoover Dam in Nevada

DAM it was big........other then beautiful it was extravagant.

I am a bit scared of heights so getting really close to edge to take these pics made me really paranoid especially when you have an eight year old that has no fear.

while in Vegas visiting my brother on a beautiful sunny day they decided to take us to Boulder City. Beautiful little town, clean as can be. Here are a few random pics that I took while visiting. There were a few antique stores in the little downtown strip.

At the end the boys enjoyed a bit of ice cream and off to Hoover Dam we went.

Can you see why I did not want to come back... this place is full of energy.

I did make it to the top of Doe MT. Took us 45 minutes to climb but I did it and I was so proud. It was kind of funny though because this gentlemen passed by me running up this mountain. I of course pretended I was not huffing and puffing. I was almost at the top when he passes me and now he was running down.

of course I had to make a remark... Man your amazing. I was still going up and he was already coming down. YIKES.

Reminder to self - need to walk during lunch and during breaks at work instead of eating.

Creativity at the Venice hotel in Las Vegas

April showers bring May flowers. I took these pics inside of the Venice hotel in Las Vegas....

Talk about someone's creative imagination. I could of stayed there all day just soaking in all the wonderful colors on these umbrellas.

It was a once in a lifetime opportunity!

so I am back. Safe and Sound thanks to GOD. Blessed more then ever.

I would lie to you if I said I was happy to be back. In a way by the second day before I got back I started getting very anxious.

This vacation to me was a once in a lifetime chance. Las Vegas to see my brother and his family, Boulder City to see the dam, off to Sedona, AZ, Flagstaff and finally the Grand Canyon.

Here are a few out of 600 pics that were taken. I fell in love with Sedona. Talk about energy and beauty and fresh clean air and skies that were just amazing. I left a bit of my heart there.


The Grand Canyon what can I really say, but AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL..... how amazing is GOD.

Did a lot of walking and climbing... that is what this trip was all about.

I hope that my boys enjoyed it as much as I did.

I will post more pics soon, but I wanted to wish you all a happy EASTER tomorrow. I am back to the start.
