my youngest - we are so much alike...

this is my youngest....

we might not look so much alike, but we are so alike in so many other ways.

he is so antsy, he is not one of those kids that just sit in front of the tv and get entertained.

he wanted to pose for me... okay let's see what you got... well here it is - not your typical poses. he wanted to pose on this chair pretending he was sleeping. I swear I laughed for a while after I saw these pics because if you knew him you would understand why I find these pics so crazy funny.

I find them entertaining because he is just like every pose. He can't sit still and I swear if I would let him grow up in a circus he would probably enjoy that. He is so full of energy and personality. So for him to just sit still well that is not him at all.

I just thought I would share a bit of my world with my youngest.

YES, it's been sunny for the last two days and I was lucky enough to be free today to enjoy it.

What a beautiful day. The sun makes me smile. So I grabbed my camera and started to shoot....

These were all taken in my living room.... I won't call it the ANGIE room today because it was taken over by my boys since they also had a don't go to school day. No work, no school.

I will post pics of my younger son posing later... he is very funny.

getting back to normal in WHEATON

getting back to normal, well at least I hope... after two weekends in the hospital with some kind of stomach virus, a weird rash unbelievably itchy and two sick boys one right after the other....

gosh are we getting back to normal in Wheaton... I truly hope so.

Patti mentioned that we will be getting another snow episode... bummer... I guess SPRING will have to be put on the back burner for now.

Just give me a sunny day, but now it's gloomy again...

This picture was taken last Saturday in downtown WHEATON, I believe this was an old theater. Not sure if they still hold events there... I like the vintage feel.

Well the beginning of January and February have been crazy for us... but good news is the way soon, yes a long awaited vacation at the end of March. SEDONA AZ here we come, never been to the GRAND CANYON so I am totally looking forward to that. Stopping off to see my brother in LAS VEGAS for a few days and off to SEDONA... I heard they have Vortexes and that its beautiful there. Can't wait.. maybe I will fit right in and won't want to come home... maybe just maybe...

Shout out to my friend PATTI, PATTI y0u are right the antique mall in LaGrange is right next to the RR TRACKS and yes I would love to meet you there one day and just look at all the wonderful treasures they have there. Maybe when the weather gets better which I hope is soon after the 6 to 10 inches we are supposed to get by tomorrow..

Well since I am not sick this weekend we are off to Medeival Times today to meet up with an old friend and her kiddies... Wish us luck.... I heard you don't get to use utensils... I am sneaking some plastic untensils in and I am a BIG TIME NAPKIN USER so I am sneaking that in as well.

I got this little guy at an antique store in LaGrange.

it was not his little clothes that caught my eye it was his little red lips and the cute little cheeks...

vintage corsage....

a very beautiful vintage corsage that I recently purchased at an antique fair... honestly I love the vintage details and the simplicity of the colors.

is spring in the air.... I hope so cause I am ready.... ready to start working on my garden, ready for sunnier skies, ready for some green grass...
