Yes, I started my boys early taught them to enjoy Halloween and to pick whatever they wanted to be.. My boys were always scary vampiers.

My oldest now 14 does not even want to trick or treat anymore and my youngest 10 thinks he can go trick or treating by himself with his best friend..

Halloween 2011 at my home

waiting in the car to meet a friend for lunch. Panera never disapoints....

Did all my running around, now I have to run to pick up my son from soccer practice and then back to start baking... I swear I really have not sat down to really relax since I got up this morning....

well yes lunch was relaxing I do have to admit but now I am hungry again... I hope that I don't start eating those freaking good cookies as they come out of the oven..

My Father

So I took off today and tomorrow, lots of running around and errands to run...

I want to dedicate this post to my dad.

His birthday is tomorrow and my mother is throwing him a party. I love my father so.

I am baking him shortbread cookies and who knows what else I am going to whip up.

From him I have learned to love MUSIC and also to love nature. Even though we all have flaws and we are not perfect in my eyes he will always be the perfect free spirit he was meant to be...

so I believe fun was had by all last night....

my son had a great time. lots a people for sure. Next year I will probably try to go on Friday again like I have the other years as in my mind we were able to go into the old settlment homes to see the skits more then this year...
