okay so I am going to be kind of deep right now.

Have you ever noticed how life sometimes helps you in some cases/situations. What I am trying to say is for example, if I would of not stopped at the ladies room right after lunch I would of run into that person. Here is another example, today I decided not stay in for lunch. lately I have been staying in for lunch sitting at my desk, eating and browsing on the Internet during my 1 hour break. Today as soon as I got to work a co-worker friend asked me to lunch. She went at 11:30 today, mind you my lunch is usually after 12:00. I asked to go at 11:30 today and it was okayed. Well, if I would of just kept to my usual lunch routine, I would of run into that situation that I have been avoiding.

Not sure if I can explain what I am truly trying to say. I guess what I mean is life or fate was helping me out so that I would not run into someone that was visiting today at our office that used to work there before. The situation was kind of complicated and I guess it was best for both that we did not run into each other.

I guess in my mind something out there was looking out for me. Not sure if it was GOD or life itself. I guess what happened today just makes me realize that there is something else out there. I tend to believe that it was GOD looking out for me, but I also believe that sometimes stuff happens because it's meant to be or not meant to be. Sometimes stuff happens that we don't understand and we will understand later. I do believe though that TODAY everything that is a usual routine for me daily was all moved around so the paths of two people would not meet again at this time. Sorry if this post might be a bit to confusing or deep - like my cousin always tells me - ANGIE u r to deep... I think that scares her cause she doesn't truly understand me. Love you cousin if you are reading.... that's it for now.

Restoration Hardware Oak Brook Mall

ok so the other day, more like this past Tuesday, I took some personal time from work because the weather was supposed to be sunny and around the 40s. I had planned to go to the arboretum and take a few pics. As soon as I walked out of that building, I call my second home, I swear the sun said see ya and I never saw it again that day.

well I thought either I stay at work or I go somewhere else.

I decided to take a drive to oak brook mall. I had a few hours to kill so I decided to kill them at the mall. I ran into RESTORATION HARDWARE love that store. So I took out my handy dandy point and shoot and here are a few pics I took. I love the style of the furniture the colors are all very calming. love love love it.

I did get a good deal on a fossil wallet at Macy's. 40% off on a fossil wallet that I tell ya is a good deal. Well my time was up, headed home to feed my boys and get their early enough to have dinner together.

Oh and by the way, as I was making my way home the sun did peep out a little through some of the darker clouds.... but by that time it was almost 4:30ish and my thoughts were more on my boys then turning around and going to the park. I am sure there will be other sunny days to come.

So as I was watering my orchid plants last weekend when I noted that the Phalenopsis (in the green pot) is going to be giving me flowers soon. The flowers will be white. I believe my mom gave me that plant last year in April for my b-day.

Every time I see my plants thrive it makes me happy as I know I am doing something right. I recently changed it to a bigger pot and it loved that.

so here are a few more pics taken yesterday when the sun was out. I woke up this morning to a few snow flurries, a bad headache, my crazy chronic neck pain, a virus that has not gone away this will be my 4th week of being sick and a dog wanting me to get up before 7.... Tobie seriously it's Sunday honey .... I think my dog Tobie thinks it's Monday and treat time (I think he's loosing it - don't tell him)

Have to count my blessings though..... have a peaceful week.

Here and Heaven - admirable talent

I was up late Friday well really on my way to bed when I heard this song starting to play and it made me stop in my tracks. First of all I think the music and just the way they really put their all into it was terrific in my eyes, but just the talent to be able to love and play an instrument. I think that's beautiful.

RANDOM - this weekend

so this weekend went fast. went to the show to watch the Underworld awakening vampiers and lycans my kind of movie. then we went to try a new mexican dive in Melrose Park which was I swear packed packed packed. I had this delicious lengua torta and of course some grilled onions with lime and salt. I have not had a torta in years as I try to really watch my bread intake especially if it's white bread. It was very delish though.

Two of my orchid plants have bloomed and still have tons of buds waiting to have more flowers.

The rest of my weekend was boring just spent most of my time washing clothes.. fun hugh? I guess someone has to do it right. Maybe next week I will be able to go see my new nephew. I have had a bad head cold for the last week that I was not able to go see him this weekend like I had liked to.... oh well, maybe next Sat or Sun.

last Sun - my green enchiladas

so I cook? Yes, lately, I have been doing a lot of cooking. Last weekend my cousin came over since her mother is out of town and not there to take care of her she asked if she could come over and I of course in need of some girl company said hell yes and what do you want me to cook for you?

my good friend Alicia recently gave me the quick recipe on how to create these yummy green enchiladas. I have never been fond of them but occasionally I will eat them.

So I made my cousin some hot green enchiladas for her and I made a few sweet ones for me. They are all stuffed with cheese. At the end you just put them in the oven to keep them warm and for the cheese to melt. I am actually very impressed that they came out so good. I say that because I don't love to cook. I have to be in the mood for it, but when I cook it comes out very delicious just like my mom's cooking.
