one of the last peonies from my garden.... this was taken last week before the crazy storm we had two days ago which destroyed most of the flowers..

not sure what the weather is tomorrow but hope it's sunny and bright.

I just finished watching a movie called Blue Valentine, pretty intense movie... loved every minute of it and will probably watch it again tomorrow. Did it make me cry?

Of course it did.... U should check it out.. hope whoever you are you have a nice night. I am so worn out now I think it's time for bed...

What will tomorrow bring for me possibly the farmers market and maybe some plant shopping....

I wish I had the cd so I can listen to it over and over again and get lost in it's melody

when I lived in MO, I had a peony plant that took at least 7 years to bloom. The soil in MO was not really soil it was clay so if you wanted to plant somehting you had to make the hole and then add dirt to that hole and then you added your plant just like if you were planting in a clay pot.

here now in IL I have not had to wait to see my plants get bigger and to see them bloom.
as you can see the bloom on this peony plant is breathtaking.

wow so what storm hit us today, as soon we got to the soccer tournament the weather turned crazy..... so the tournament ended up getting cancelled. so as we waited and waited till the rain calmed down we finally made it home....

relaxing I did, of course watered my orchids, swept and took a few pics... the weather did end up clearing up by around 4 p.m. ish.... so the tournament will continue tomorrow.... and then I am off to my friends campground to go hang out with her family. see ya soon.

hi....sorry it's been a few days...

I worked all day yesterday by the time I got home I sat down to watch a movie and I feel asleep as the flic was getting good.

now I am up and running to get ready to go see my son play his tournament game in Schaumburg...

my place is a mess but thank GOD it's not that nice outside so when I come back I can stay in and clean... cause if the sun is out it's so tempting to be outside instead of inside where I need to be cathcing up on chores,
