I hope you all had a wonderful mother's day. I spent my whole day with my boys and then off to my mother's house to spend a wonderful time with her and the rest of my family.

I am off tomorrow and thank GOD Friday as well. Hopefully I get to see my best friend JLO and spend some fun time with her. I have known her for years and she's truly just like the sister I never had.

I'm in another funk again and don't know how much longer I can handle living in denial. Sometimes we sacrifice for the best of others.... well at least in my case that is what I feel is best to do.

Have a blessed MOTHER'S Day!

Honestly if I did not have my boys in my life I don't
know where I would be.

They make the free spirited ANGIE, be responsible
and they help me keep my feet on the ground.

thank you LORD for my two wonderful boys.
I am off to work, but there are a few shows in May that I will post about hopefully this weekend.

So keep your dates open.

May 21st and May 22nd.

You don't want to miss these if you are in the area.

Caught in the middle

This weekend on my way home from my visit to downtown Chicago, my boys and I ended in the middle of this demonstration.

I am going to honestly say that I AM NOT INTO POLITICS never have and never will. That is just not my cup of tea.

I do have to admit that I was very glad that my oldest son did see this demonstration. I am not going to let out all my concerns and secrets out of the closet as sometimes things are better left unsaid.

All I really have to say is that these pictures speak a thousand words. The vibe of all these people walking in this demonstration was very powerful and left an impression.

This is something I will remember for a long time.
That is honestly all I have to say!

Downtown Chicago

honestly I had forgotten how much I love the city.

I worked for a couple of years in the downtown area and loved it, but once life happens you forget.

today's visit brought all those feelings back.

My boys enjoyed the bean at Millennium Park. I enjoyed watching people.

oh but do come back as I have tons more pics to share especially all the pics I took of a big political demonstration that I never would have thought I would be in the middle of.

my love of orchids, this is my second plant that I just acquired on clearance at Lowes. Truly a beauty. I am keeping a close eye on it as it was not in the best conditions lost a couple of it's leaves. It's doing okay now.

Off to downtown Chicago today... taking the boys to see the bean.

Taking the train and hopefully the rain won't come otherwise we will be soaked puppies...
